Dates and Deadlines 2020
If you are registered to vote but miss the deadline to update your address, you can still vote. Contact your county elections department where you are currently registered to request a ballot.
Registrations and updates submitted after the deadline will take effect for the next election.

Special Election
January 24 | Start of 18-day voting period (through Election Day). Ballots are mailed out and Accessible Voting Units (AVUs) are available at voting centers. |
February 3 | Online and mail registrations must be received 8 days before Election Day. Register to vote in person during business hours and any time before 8:00 p.m. on Election Day |
February 11 | Deadline for Washington State voter registration (in person only) |
February 11 | Special Election - Deposit your ballot in an official drop box by 8 p.m. on Election Day. |
Presidential Primary
February 21 | Start of 18-day voting period (through Election Day). Ballots are mailed out and Accessible Voting Units (AVUs) are available at voting centers. |
March 2 | Online and mail registrations must be received 8 days before Election Day. Register to vote in person during business hours and any time before 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. |
March 10 | Deadline for Washington State voter registration or updates (in person only). |
March 10 | Presidential Primary - Deposit your ballot in an official drop box by 8 p.m. on Election Day. |
Special Election

Candidate Filing
